It’s been a busy year already for us with lots of projects getting started, progressing on site or nearing completion.
We’ve really enjoyed working on all of these projects and collaborating with our clients and their design teams.
Here’s a quick overview of what we’ve been up to:
Before Christmas we were really pleased to welcome Alex to our growing team.
He’s made the sensible choice to move the Sheffield from London. In London he was working on some very interesting projects, including a new public sculpture in Kings Cross. He’s now enjoying working on some varied projects with us here at JAM.
Alex completed a dual architecture and structural engineering degree so he’ll be splitting his time between JAM and Paul Testa Architecture.
One day we’ll make it to a pub for his welcome drink!

JAM Structural Design and Paul Testa Architecture are hiring.
We’re looking for a motivated graduate with both Structural Engineering and Architecture undergraduate degree qualifications to work as a graduate engineer and part 1 architectural assistant between our two collaborative practices based out of the same office.
The successful candidate will work in this multi-disciplinary office environment on a variety of design-led projects at all stages in the design and construction process. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who will take the initiative and become a key member of our two teams.
